The Hindle Wedding - Nugget Hill - Lass & Beau

Nothing is better than being able to capture a love story that we believe so much in. Our friendship with Chris began so long ago and we can still remember hearing about his first date with Leanne and eventually having him open up to us about Leanne, and how strongly he felt for her.  Fast forward to last Summer, and we got a call from Chris who told us that Leanne is absolutely "the one" and that he was going to ask her to marry him. After a hike up the wolf creek trail in Letchworth State Park with their nephew Logan, Chris dropped to one knee and received an enthusiastic, tear filled, YES.  We felt so honored to be there to capture it. The time from the proposal to the wedding seemed to fly by!

On September 16th, Chris and Leanne made the ultimate commitment to each other; surrounded by their parents, siblings, extended family and friends.  The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional.  Leanne could not have looked more beautiful - her dress, with an open back, was elegant, modern and fit her perfectly. She looked absolutely radiant as she beamed with happiness the whole day.  Chris also wore his happiness all over his face as he laughed and embraced friends and family, and most importantly, stared into the eyes of the new Mrs. Hindle.

Between their ceremony and party the couple went to Stony Brooke State Park. We love when our couples set time aside for themselves on their wedding day.  Chris and Leanne took a minute to digest the step they just took together, and to just "feel" married for the first time. It wasn't hard to snag a few shots during this time as the two were completely glowing with love.  The weather was perfect,  the day was filled with beautiful colors and the essence of fall creeping up on us on this early September afternoon.

When we arrived at Nugget Hill for the reception the wedding was beautiful.  The tables were lovely all set up and even had engraved cups for the guests. We really loved watching the newly married couple dance their first dance.  After some fabulous speeches and a toast to the couple - the party started! When we say party, we mean all the best things! Chris and Leanne didn't miss a beat in making the reception fun!  The huge bounce house was a big hit with the young guests and the guests who are young at heart. The bride and groom slipped out of their formal wear and into summer "play clothes", entered the bounce house, and let loose.  The soft serve ice-cream sundae station was one of the coolest things we've seen at a wedding and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!  There was also yard games, a photo booths, bubble's, glow sticks and of course dancing!

Its wild to watch two people get married when you knew them right from the start of their love story.  Through the years we have felt inspired by them; seeing how they've pushed through the challenges presented to them, and watching them not only hurtle those obstacles, but do so with ease and confidence knowing that they had each other to lean on. Chris and Leanne - you are powerful people and we know nothing will get in your way!  We love you both very much and we are so proud to know you and to say that you are our friends!

Cheers to you as you continue to go through life together!
